Description of WorkClean and maintain various floor surfaces for all buildings on the Cherry Hospital campus and other specialized projects. The Floor Maintenance Assistant is assigned to a Mobile Crew within the Environmental Services Department that specializes in floor care, and reports to the Floor Maintenance Supervisor I.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities / Management Preferences- Working knowledge of floor care and cleaning.
- Skill in the use and care of floor maintenance equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to follow procedural directions in the use of cleaning products.
$31,200 - $48,810
Physical RequirementsWalking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

Minimum Education and ExperienceSix months of education and/or experience in housekeeping procedures including floor maintenance that is directly related to the job and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
