Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Schedule
2nd shift
The schedule can be either Tues‑Fri 2 PM to midnight or Mon‑Fri 2 PM to 10 PM, depending on applicant preference. A rotational on‑call schedule exists for weekends.
Must be available to work the day shift during the approximate 6‑month training period.
About This RoleThe Senior Technician II performs corrective and preventive calibrations on manufacturing and laboratory analytical instrumentation with limited supervision. The role supports manufacturing and laboratory personnel in the use, maintenance, and repair of on‑site instrumentation and test equipment and assists with validation and engineering activities when required. The technician documents changes to procedures and job plans.
What You’ll Do- Perform scheduled calibrations.
- Perform unscheduled corrective calibrations and repairs.
- Install new instrumentation.
- Provide engineering and validation support.
- Document changes to procedures, job plans, and LOTO safety forms.

Required Skills- Education and experience:
High school diploma with 3 years of experience, or Military or ISA Certified with 2 years, or Associate’s Degree (I&C or Eng) with 2 years, or Bachelor’s (I&C or Eng) with 1 year. - Experience troubleshooting and investigating instrumentation and control issues.
- Knowledge of and experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Ability to climb ladders and crawl into tight spaces to service equipment.
- Ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in cleanroom areas while wearing required gowning for up to 70% of the shift.
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.
- Experience working in a GMP or regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of equipment in the biotech or pharma industry.
Job Level: Entry Level
Base compensation range: $31.25–$40.87 per hour.
Base salary is determined through an analytical approach that considers relevant skills, experience, job location, and internal equity.
