Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in delivering exceptional living experiences for residents. This role involves overseeing daily maintenance operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring portfolio is maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, technical expertise in building systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Participate in completing service requests including repairing and replacing appliances, plumbing systems, and air conditioning, heating, and electrical systems, etc.
- Manage the “make ready” process of vacant units including making lists of tasks and repairs needed, and obtaining supplies, to ensure completion within established deadlines.
- Assist in scheduling and supervising contracted services as needed (H.V.A.C., electrical, plumbing, carpet cleaning, painters, landscaping, etc.), to ensure quality of work and timeliness.
- Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering and delivery of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed.
- Ensures all properties meet government regulations and environmental, health, safety and security standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience in maintenance in residential settings.
- Previous supervisory experience overseeing maintenance teams preferred.
- Strong knowledge with hands‑on experience in plumbing, electrical, & HVAC systems. HVAC Certification required.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and tasks from conception through completion while managing multiple priorities.

Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
