As a Technician II, Maintenance & Reliability, you will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will support maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement activities in a highly regulated environment to deliver innovative medicines to patients.

• Execute maintenance and calibration activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
• Prepare tools, materials, and spare parts required for planned maintenance activities.
• Identify, manage, and maintain spare parts inventory to support uninterrupted operations.
• Perform work orders according to approved procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Support commissioning and technical projects to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Update maintenance records and documentation within computerized maintenance management systems.
• Promote compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, safety, and environmental standards.

• Experience performing maintenance, calibration, or troubleshooting activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and regulated operating environments.
• Ability to execute work orders following established procedures and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of safety principles and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience collaborating across teams to support operational and maintenance objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data tracking and reporting.

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems for work order and asset management.
• Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles and continuous improvement practices.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $37.02 and $68.75 per hour. The final salary offered is determined based on factors such as relevant skills and experience and will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may adjust the published salary range based on company and market factors.

Compensation includes a performance‑based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility for annual equity awards.
