** Maintenance Supervisor

Role Overview
** Oversees day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
** Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*** Assigns PM’s, checks PM completion and tracks PM completion rates.
* Manages and directs daily activities to Mechanics and Parts Clerk.
* Ensures all safety standards, policies and procedures are followed.
* Schedules maintenance employees according to workloads, vacations, etc.
* Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
* Responsible for Food Safety where applicable.
* Works with maintenance team to adhere to budget costs.
* Creates department procedures and facilitates training.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Required Qualifications
*** High school diploma or GED required.
* Five (5) years maintenance experience required.
* Four (4) years of supervisory experience required.
* Programmable Logistics Controller (PLC) training required.
* Good leadership skills required.
* Good oral and written communication skills required.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Must be able to communicate with highly skilled technicians.
* Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems.
* Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
