Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician in Durham, North Carolina, and play a vital role in maintaining our client's facilities. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to utilize your diverse maintenance skills in a fast-paced environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on building systems and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include completing work orders, conducting inspections, maintaining facilities, and documenting all activities using CMMS software.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional committed to quality work and safety compliance. Enjoy consistent weekday hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) .
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical trade school or college coursework preferred
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably Corrigo
- Proficiency with mobile devices (tablets, smartphones)
- Strong ability to follow safety policies and procedures, with good communication skills. #
