Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We are seeking Full Time Housekeepers to perform cleaning services for the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, reliable, a team player and possess a great attitude.
Multiple Shifts available, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm/3:30pm-11pm.

Applicants must be US citizens and able to pass a government background check. Minimum of one-year cleaning experience preferably in a hospital environment.

• Buffing the floors, performing cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning the lobby area, hallways, bathrooms.
• Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refill all paper products, clean kitchen/break areas.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time;
Ascending/Descending stairs and to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently;
May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
