Overview:

The Seating Bowl Host monitors and ushers an assigned section of Durham Bulls Athletic Park during home games and events. This role assists guests, maintains an orderly and welcoming seating area, and helps create an energetic ballpark experience.

Key Responsibilities and

Essential Functions:

• Monitor and usher guests within an assigned seating section.
• Help guests locate their seats and provide directions throughout the ballpark.
• Wipe down seats and help keep the assigned section clean and presentable.
• Build positive relationships with guests and respond to questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Encourage section participation and cheering during games.
• Assist with in-stand promotions and other fan engagement activities.
• Communicate guest concerns, safety issues, or unusual situations to a supervisor.
• Assist in evacuations or emergency situations by following established safety procedures.
• Assist fans with special needs, including wheelchair accessibility and other accommodations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, positive, friendly, and helpful approach to guest service.
• Ability to remain professional and composed while working with large crowds.
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs frequently throughout a shift .
• Ability to bend, reach, and wipe down seating areas as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
