Part Time Evening Shift Dishwasher

Summary

Summary The Dishwasher plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. You are responsible for cleaning and sorting all items that are delivered to the dish wash area.

• Hours:
  
  4:00 pm to 7:30 pm
• Schedule:
  
  3 to 4 days a week, with availability to work every other weekend from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

WAGE: $16-$18 Hourly

• Operation of the dish machine to include, scraping, soaking, stacking and racking of soiled dishes, glasses, utensils and other service wares.
• Return service wares to appropriate areas of storage once cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep all equipment (including racks, bus tubs and rack dollies) clean, sanitized and organized.
• Remove all refuse generated throughout dietary department (including bagged refuse and recyclable cardboard).
• Responsible for maintenance of department floors which includes sweeping, mopping and scheduled stripping.
• Assist cooks with washing pots and pans.
• Clean work area according to schedules and assignments.
• Provide support services to other dining rooms and special programs as needed.
• Assist chef with preparing and/or dishing up desserts, garnishing plates, preparing and delivering room service trays, etc.
• Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image.
• Attend and participate in-services as required by federal, state, and company requirements.
