Eagan Civic Arena. Temporary/Seasonal, Not Benefit Eligible, Part-Time. Pay: $20.923.

Join the Civic Arena Staff as a Facility Operator! In this position, you will maintain arena security, cleanliness, equipment, and assist with ice operations. The role demands indoor and outdoor work in all weather. Scheduled shifts include evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours per week. Position open until filled.

• Maintain order in the Civic Arena
• Prevent damage to building and equipment (e.g., light fixtures, doors, windows, vending machines, pay phones)
• Check ice‑making machinery and take log readings at appropriate times
• Drive the resurfacer during scheduled ice‑making times
• Ensure cleanliness of the arena during assigned shift and at end of night
• Assist concession stand workers with supplies, change, and machinery repair
• Submit cleaning and building supplies request forms to supervisor
• Pick up trash outside the building and grounds
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience and knowledge of mechanical equipment and repairs
• Previous experience sharpening skates
• Two years’ experience driving a resurfacer

• Regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and write
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision and peripheral vision
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• May occasionally climb a ladder, operate a lift, and operate a vehicle requiring multiple hand and foot operations
• Must be able to walk on the ice surface
• Must be able to perform all essential position functions under the described working conditions
• Must be self‑motivated and a hard‑working individual
