POSITION TITLE: General Labor
Location: Del Rio, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hire Pay: $10.50 per hour
Classification: Full-Time
Job DescriptionThe job responsibilities primarily involve physical labor, including moving and assembling furniture, equipment, and materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Job Summary- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
- Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand or power tools.
- Able to clean the area to move furniture.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Effective interpersonal/communication skills.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to lift, push/pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 55 pounds.
The supervisor provides formal supervision. The position requires independent completion of tasks.
Working ConditionsThe principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and outdoor environment, involving physical work.
Alcohol and Drug Testing PolicyThis position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
Minimum Qualifications- Must pass a background check.
