Housekeeping​/Laundry​/Neighborhood Specialist​/PT​/Alt Weekends

Job Overview

This is a part‑time position, approximately 16‑20 hours per week, including every other weekend.

The Housekeeping/Laundry (Neighborhood Specialist) role ensures resident rooms and common areas are clean, sanitary, and inviting. The position has a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of residents, staff, and visitors by creating a safe, warm, and welcoming environment.

• Perform various cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Change and launder bed linens and towels as required.
• Assist with meal prep and clean up as needed.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident and staff requests promptly.

• Previous housekeeping, laundry and cleaning experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a retirement community preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
