Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to ensuring resident comfort, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas

Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas

Clean lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public spaces

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, dispensers, and other surfaces

Dust and sanitize handrails and high-touch areas

Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively

Follow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and chemical handling protocols

Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized manner

Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptly

Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors

Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus Ability to follow instructions, policies, and safety procedures

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
