1st Shift - Part-Time Custodian

Part‑Time Custodian

Monday‑Friday: 5 am to 9 am | 20 hours weekly.
$15.00 per hour.

• These positions will perform cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Removing trash.
• Dusting.
• Vacuuming.
• Mopping.
• Disinfecting restrooms.
• Understands and gives verbal or written instructions.
• Reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs.
• Removes snow with a shovel or snow blower.
• Retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products.
• Works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community.
• Serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety.
• Maintains product inventory.
• Makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.
• This position will engage in high‑performing, leading‑edge practices, valuing people, partners, and stewardship.
