Maintenance Planner
As the Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for improving plant reliability, equipment uptime and maintenance efficiency by planning, coordinating and scheduling all preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
This role ensures that work orders are properly scoped, materials and parts are available, labor resources are allocated, and jobs are executed safely and efficiently with minimal downtime to operations.
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Plans, schedules and coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance; manages the plant-level preventative maintenance program
- Upgrades preventative maintenance, tasks and equipment tables in partnership with plant leadership
- Develops weekly schedules and assists with establishing job priorities
- Manages the backlog of repairs and provides assistance to Maintenance Supervisors; submits and reviews backlog priorities with department leaders
- Closes out work orders daily, including actual hours, work history and relevant commentary
- Maintains records, charts and indexes (OSHA, Environmental, ISO) and accurate asset records of all maintained equipment
- Establishes and distributes weekly and monthly KPI and trends across the facility; completes maintenance problem analysis
- Documents and manages components sent for rebuild / refurbishment
- Schedules annual and quarterly inspections for critical plant equipment
- Edits, adds, and reviews all preventive maintenance to verify accuracy and precise instruction details
- Submits requisitions for stock and completes purchasing for items needed to support Maintenance and Operations
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Related advanced training and/or college coursework (preferred)
- Experience working with CMMS software (preferred)
- 1+ years of related experience (preferred)
