The Substitute Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure school environment during the temporary absence of a regular custodian. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, cafeterias, and common areas; setting up and breaking down rooms for school activities; removing trash; restocking supplies; performing light maintenance tasks; and assisting with building safety and security as needed. The successful candidate must be dependable, able to work independently, and capable of performing the physical duties required of custodial work while following district policies and procedures.

Meadow Brook School serves East Longmeadow students in preschool through second grade in a nurturing environment. The school offers a challenging curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and includes special subjects such as Physical Education, Art, Music, Computer Lab, and Library. The program also includes comprehensive special education, as well as gifted and talented education.
