We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Director of
Maintenance to join our team and ensure that our facility operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently. If you have a strong maintenance background and are committed to excellence, we want to hear from you!
Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour; full-time 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities- Facility Inspections & Safety Oversight:
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure safety, upkeep, and operational standards, including checking equipment performance and facility appearance. - Maintenance Scheduling & Execution:
Plan, prioritize, and oversee all maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely and high-quality completion. - Vendor & Contract Management:
Supervise contracted services, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed in accordance with established timelines. - Record Maintenance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections. - Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance work complies with Local, State, Federal, and OSHA standards and regulations. - Emergency Response:
Be available for on-call emergency situations and urgent maintenance needs as required.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. - Experience:
- Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance is required.
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care (LTC) settings is a plus.
- Supervisory experience within maintenance teams is required.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office and basic computer systems for record-keeping and communication.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Solid knowledge of DOH, CMS, and Life Safety Code requirements.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize and perform well under pressure.
- A demonstrated commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining high standards.
