Housekeeper - 1st Shift (Allure of Moline)

Pay: $15.97 - $17.51/hour

Shift: First shift (typically mornings to early afternoon)

This is a hands‑on cleaning role in a healthcare or residential facility. Your main goal is to keep the environment clean, safe, and comfortable for residents
.

• Following cleaning schedules
• Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, fixtures, and equipment
• Sweeping, mopping, waxing, and disinfecting floors
• Taking out trash and relining bins
• Using cleaning chemicals safely
• Wearing protective equipment when needed
• Coordinating with nursing staff when cleaning resident areas
• Reporting accidents or safety issues

You may also be assigned other duties as needed.

• You must protect residents’ private health information (HIPAA awareness)
• Follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
• Handle chemicals and potentially infectious materials carefully

• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Follow instructions (written and verbal)
• Work well with coworkers and residents
• Be patient and respectful toward residents of different ability levels

This is a physically active job
:

• Walking and moving throughout your shift
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
• Pushing/pulling carts or equipment
• Reaching, bending, and cleaning various surfaces
• Handling some mental/emotional stress (common in care environments)

• Expect repetitive cleaning work and being on your feet most of the day
• You’ll likely work in a nursing home or assisted living setting, so cleanliness is critical
• It can be fast‑paced, especially when coordinating with care staff
• Good fit if you like routine, physical work, and helping maintain a safe environment for others
