Cultivation Facilities Specialist
The Facilities Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment in the cultivation department.
Essential Functions
- Clean and supply cultivation area (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.) including corridors and bathrooms
- Spray floors with disinfecting chemicals to promote biosecurity
- Keeps track of inventory on all consumable goods
- Handles laundered items
- Washes dishes when necessary
- Handles the removal and destruction of waste from the department, including operating a shredder to destroy marijuana waste
- Make adjustments and small repairs as needed
- Assists with any cultivation activities as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 0-3 years of farming or janitorial work
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to wear a fitted respirator
- Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1+ years of farming or maintenance experience
- Experience with cleanroom or other detailed cleaning
- OSHA Certification
- Forklift Certification
FBI/BCI state mandated background check.
