During training - Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or 11:30 a,m to 7:30 pm

April 27 (for 4-6 weeks)

Salary: $24 Per Hour

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community

* Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies

Job

Responsibilities Include:

* Cleans and monitors designated spaces and equipment in the building, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and waxing floors; rubbish removal

* Cleans and disinfects bathroom sinks, toilets and urinals, mirrors

* Check hand soap, paper towel, & tissue supplies

* Cleans classroom sinks/faucets

* Replaces light bulbs as needed

* Unlocks and locks premises, secures windows and activates/deactivates the alarm systems

* Cleans and maintains custodial equipment daily after each use

* Helps in unloading of freight as needed with delivery to specified areas

* Moves classroom furniture as needed

Physical Demands of Job:

* Frequent walking, bending, twisting and lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs. such as cleaning supplies, pails and unloading trucks

* Continuous use of hand strength to grasp tools and cleaning equipment and climb on ladders

* Push/pull items such as tables, bleachers, and/or cleaning equipment
