BRECOflex CO., L.L.C. is looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and improving industrial equipment and facilities. In this role you will perform a combination of preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and repair, facility maintenance, and improvement projects while helping support the reliability and performance of our operations.
What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing and automation equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment-related systems
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance using the PM database and weekly maintenance checklists to help minimize equipment downtime
- Complete facility maintenance, repairs, improvements, and upgrades involving plumbing, minor HVAC, compressed air systems, doors, drywall, painting, roofing, and general building maintenance.
- Perform machine repairs, upgrades, improvements, equipment relocations, and modifications, including the construction of basic production fixtures and metal or wooden structures
- Coordinate with and oversee outside vendors when specialized maintenance or repair work is required
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop, including tools, equipment, and supplies, and research vendors to source necessary parts and materials
- Work independently on maintenance projects while collaborating with production, operations, vendors, and other internal teams
- Identify maintenance and improvement opportunities, communicate equipment or facility issues to management, and follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and ISO 9001 quality standards
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can quickly assess a situation, identify the issue, and take action to get equipment and facilities back up and running.
You should have:
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience involving industrial equipment, manufacturing machinery, facilities, or building systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine repair in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment and equipment control systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems efficiently
- Experience using major hand and power tools, with the ability to operate equipment such as a forklift and scissor lift
- Strong communication, time management, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
- Experience with a facilities management or work order system;
Hippo CMMS experience is a plus - A valid driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift up to 75 pounds to waist height
- Stand and move throughout the manufacturing facility for approximately
90% of the shift - Use manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform maintenance and repair tasks
- Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment
