We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and operations of our healthcare facility.

Position: Maintenance Director
Location: Tinton Falls, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Department

• Perform and supervise building repairs and maintenance

• Manage preventive maintenance programs and inspections

• Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, heating/cooling, and other building systems

• Ensure fire alarm, emergency generator, and safety systems are properly maintained and tested

• Maintain required maintenance records and documentation

• Order supplies and coordinate with vendors and contractors

• Schedule, supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff

• Ensure the facility complies with applicable safety, fire, health, and building regulations

• Respond to maintenance emergencies and remain available for emergency situations

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, families, and staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic training/knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance

• Previous supervisory experience required

• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care maintenance experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and perform hands-on repairs

• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

• Must be available for emergency on-call responsibilities
