Our Logistics and Mission Support Division is seeking a US&R Technician II to join our team in Edgewood, MD in support of Defense CBRN Response Force mission.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team supporting the Defense Chemical Response Force (DCRF) mission and Command and Control CBRN Response Element
- Bravo (C2

CRE-B). This full-time position will be integral in maintaining and supporting US&R (Urban Search and Rescue) and Medical Company Area Support (MCAS) equipment for operational readiness and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair US&R equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards for DCRF and C2

    CRE-B missions.
  • Prepare refresh and sustainment equipment for US&R and MCAS.
  • Perform regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.
  • Support logistics coordination for equipment delivery, fielding, and sustainment activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to personnel regarding US&R equipment operation.
  • Assist with the inventory maintenance and recertification of equipment.
  • Identify, address and track equipment shortages and services that need scheduling.
  • Utilize, and maintain inventory system to track equipment status, updates, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
  • Prepare and update documentation, including maintenance logs and reports.
  • Required to travel to fielding, and sustainment visits in various location about 25% of the time.
Qualifications
  • College Degre or equivalent experience; technical certification or relevant military experience preferred.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with automation tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with inventory systems and computer skills such as Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse and field environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • US Military experience.
  • US Military logistics understanding such as supply accountability, and supply storage.
  • US&R equipment knowledge experience.
  • Small engines knowledge.
  • Forklift driver (Stand up and/or Sit down) experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
