Maintenance Technician:
Edina Park Apartments (Full‑time, 40 hours per week) – hourly rate starting at $25.00 per hour.
Boiler/CPO Licenses:
Not required, but willingness to obtain one is preferred. Highland Management Group pays for education, training, and licensing costs, including exam fees.
Location:
Edina Park Apartments, a 79‑unit property in Edina, MN. Living on‑site is optional; employees who choose on‑site residence receive a higher rent discount.
Optional emergency on‑call duties available; lucrative opportunities for those who wish to participate.
Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure resident satisfaction through regular property upkeep, including preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement.
- Complete maintenance requests from residents as received on work orders.
- Check fire extinguishers and smoke detectors monthly and check boilers daily.
- Have a working knowledge of water and gas meter shut‑offs, all apartment fixtures shut‑off locations, and sewer clean‑outs.
- Assure the cleanliness and good repair of vacant units.
- Check pools (if applicable) and complete miscellaneous inspections and reports.
- Report regularly to the Property Manager on projected expenses as authorized for maintenance and service.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested by the managers.
