HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
You’ll respond to client requests, prioritize and assign work orders, and follow up to ensure minimal downtime. You conduct regular inspections, alarm testing, and implement preventative maintenance programs. You develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, suppliers, and department leaders. You manage multiple priorities and reports, including inventory, records, and schedules.
Qualifications- At least 3-5 years of building/property maintenance or engineering experience.
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems and other building mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Flexibility to be on-call to respond to after-hours/work weekend emergency requests.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Maintain and check daily operating logs for air conditioning, fan units, gas charts, utility meters and general complaints.
- Ensure building systems and tenant service requests are handled efficiently at the most economical cost.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and RFP process for budgeted projects.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of operating procedures and proper chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers.

Approximate Compensation Range: $32.59/hour to $40/hr
