Maintenance / Porter

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Maintenance / Porter. The role focuses on maintaining the appearance and functionality of the store to ensure total customer satisfaction.

• Perform all general maintenance inside and outside the store.
• Maintain the appearance of the sales floor by picking or sweeping up spills and debris.
• Maintain glass windows and doors, keeping them free from spots.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms on a designated schedule.
• Maintain the break room in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.
• Maintain the outside appearance of the store by sweeping or picking up debris and ensuring that trash containers are emptied regularly.
• Clear away any snow, slush, or ice from in front of the entrance.
• Monitor maintenance performed by contracted vendors.
• Utilize the ETS in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Genuine desire to service customers and maintain orderly retail stores and outside appearance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
• Moderate interpersonal relations and communication skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, basic carpentry skills.
• Visual and auditory skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Base pay: $16.37 – $17.00 per hour, final pay rate determined by experience and qualifications.
