About this PositionThe seasonal Lake Maintenance Worker assists with construction, grounds maintenance, sanitation, and lake maintenance for the lake area, parks, access roads, trails, and campgrounds. Employment lasts 6 months and may be terminated earlier if services are no longer required.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Or be a current high school student
- At least 16 years of age
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City insurance carrier
- Perform custodial duties in all areas of parks
- Remove full trash can bags, place in dumpster, and replace with a new liner
- Collect ground litter and place in trash receptacles
- Wash and clean public rest rooms
- Remove ashes and fire residues from fireplaces, fire rings, and charcoal grills
- Operate power equipment and hand tools
- Submit service interval information to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors, potentially during inclement weather and intense heat
- Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
- Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug test
