Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

Conduct industrial cleaning duties to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Buff floors and perform floor care maintenance to enhance the appearance of surfaces.

Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.

Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts appropriately to promote sustainability.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.

Provide porter services as required, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment within the facility.

Experience Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.

Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.

Skills in residential painting or facilities maintenance are advantageous.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
