Job Description
The Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown is a 188 room full service hotel featuring the Riverside Bistro, a 90 seat dining room, 60 seat seasonal patio and 25 seat private dining room all with the best views of the river valley in Edmonton.
The successful candidate will be dynamic and engaging, guest-focused with an eye for detail, while working toward Concord Hospitality Management’s goal of being a Great Place To Work For All and embracing Concord’s 5-6-4 Philosophy.
Working alongside a strong leadership team headed by Chef Pawanjit Singh and the best associates in Edmonton, the successful candidate will watch the You Tube videos above, prepare themselves for a great interview and be responsible for all those day to day things that will make the Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton Downtown hugely successful with you at the center of it all.
The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. The Line Cook must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. Line Cook must be prepared to work as a team Member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
