Preferred candidate will have 6 months or more experience with:

MIG

Works under direct supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and applies basic welding processes.

• Performs minor repairs and applies basic welding processes.
• Assists in the repair of compactors and containers.
• Washes compactors and containers.
• Conducts safety checks on compactors and containers.
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing compactors and containers, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assists senior welders and welders in the completion of project work.
• Performs service calls for container repair.
• Repairs broken or damaged containers.
• May perform related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal parts.
• Performs other maintenance related work as required.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

A. Required Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant work experience.

B. Preferred Qualifications

• Administrative Services Driver License, Valid and in State

Field:
This job operates in both inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

The expected base pay for this on-site position is $29.35. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
