Key Responsibilities

Cotton seeks experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Front Office / Facility Maintenance personnel to join our dynamic team. This role will cross‑train and perform administrative, housekeeping, and facility management duties. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, professional, and capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Front Office Duties
  • Multitask effectively and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Greet residents immediately with friendly hospitality; use a clear, positive speaking voice to listen to, understand, and respond to requests and provide prompt information such as meal times and local attractions.
  • Use computer skills to complete the guest registration process and confirm accurate information in the property management system.
  • Check residents in and out using reservation software.
  • Issue and inventory room keys.
  • Provide prompt, clear communication for guest messages and mail retrieval to ensure an excellent customer experience; run errands as needed for camp operations.
  • Keep the property clean, safe, and comfortable for all residents.
  • Maintain the office condition.
  • Log, dispatch, and coordinate facility repairs; maintain professionalism among staff and clientele.
Facility Maintenance Duties
  • Perform general labor, maintenance, and repair work as assigned.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work per record‑keeping requirements.
  • Work scope includes, but is not limited to, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance.
  • Perform housekeeping functions and maintain the professional appearance of the property, equipment, and common areas.
  • Maintain grounds appearance by completing lawn maintenance, landscaping, painting, pressure washing, weed spraying, refuse collection, etc.
  • Document deficiencies and disturbances to the Camp Manager and assist in resolutions.
  • Perform required property walks (rounds).
  • Respond to calls promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience, Knowledge, and

    Skills:

    • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with impeccable multitasking abilities.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
    • Ability to stand and move throughout office/buildings and continuously perform essential job functions.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers.
    • Adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Willingness to work outside and be flexible to meet operational needs, including outside of regular hours or rotations.
    • Ability to travel for extended periods on short notice.
    • Motivated to work independently or as part of a team.
