- Provide supervisory oversight of the Savage-El Dorado facility and support in varying capacities across the company as needed.
- Contribute to existing or new Savage operations and interact with people from all parts of the company, including members of the executive management team.
- Attend periodic regional, company, and safety meetings; travel may be required for these activities.
- Reside within a reasonable driving distance (50 miles) of the Savage-El Dorado facility.
- Provide oversight of onsite teams and plan and schedule equipment and facility maintenance activities.
- Record maintenance and operational activities using Manager +.
- Manage spare/critical parts inventory and order chemical additives as needed to maintain inventory and ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting.
- Assist in hiring, training and team building.
- Prefer experience working in maintenance and/or operational field.
- Supporting Objectives:
Purchase of parts and materials. - Support additional operations outside of the El Dorado facility on limited occasions.
- Understand and commit to the Savage Safety Stewardship and/or Lead Safety Specialist program(s).
- Understands and commits to achieving zero occurrences.

- Understanding of heavy industrial equipment from an operating and safety perspective.

- Willing to study and learn new technical skills and techniques.
- Must be physically capable of walking the entire facility regularly.
- Willing to work long hours at times and to be on-call 24 hours as needed.
