Janitor

Must ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well‑maintained.

• Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
• Keeping buildings free from indoor pests
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment
• Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours
• Collaborating with contract cleaning services
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
• Other duties as assigned

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in the industrial industry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on foot for extended periods
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
