Location:

El Dorado, KS

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

What You'll Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our campus facilities. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facilities on campus
  • Operator and maintain maintenance machinery, transportation equipment, and industrial equipment.
  • Perform basic plumbing, HVAC, janitorial duties, landscaping, electrical, and carpentry.
What We're Looking For

Experienced professionals in:

  • Industrial equipment maintenance and repair
  • Mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps and pump motors)
  • Electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC systems, motors, control circuits)
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) – basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Blueprint and schematic reading (mechanical and electrical)
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor controls
  • Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick, Mill and Lathe experience)
  • Precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, alignment tools)
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Hand and power tool operation
  • Safety compliance (Lockout/Tagout, OSHA standards, PPE)
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
  • Forklift or rigging experience
