ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrates professional and ethical behavior, maintains appropriate level of confidentiality, and desecration in the discharge of duties.
- Serves customers and co-workers with a positive, professional, respectful and courteous attitude at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring the designated buildings and facilities are clean and in orderly condition with some light maintenance.
- Performs minor repair and maintenance of County buildings and their exterior grounds directly under the purview of the Lead Maintenance Technician.
- Cleans facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Cleans, services and stocks restrooms.
- Dust furniture, walls, cubicles, machines and equipment.
- Gathers and empties trash containers.
- Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees using both step and extension ladders.
- Cleans up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notifies supervisors or managers of major repairs.
- Collects and disposes of trash.
- Completes tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Keeps cleaning supplies in stock.
- Works with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
- Ensures the opening and closing of buildings each business day.
- Monitors building conditions so as to ascertain their integrity and any maintenance issues that arise.
- Provides assistance in the moving of furniture, equipment or other items for which aid is needed.
- In inclement weather assists with snow and ice removal and mitigation before buildings are open for business.
- The employee must be on call nights, weekends, and holidays. These constitute times not considered "routine" scheduled hours. Fair compensation for overtime will be given as per the County Employee Personnel Policy Handbook.
- Assisting in additional projects or assignments may be requested.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Must possess an Oklahoma Class D driver's license and possess a safe driving record.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors sometimes exposed to heat, cold, extreme humidity, snow, rain and various weather condition.
Work may be performed in confined or cramped positions, and on slick and wet surfaces.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
