Low Voltage Technician - Residential Integration Technology & Audio​/Video

What is the role?

Audio/Video Integration Technician - A diverse, technical proficient role with Client-Centric Service Approach allowing for many opportunities to showcase mastery in the Audio/Video Industry using Creston, Lutron and other systems to create the perfect environment for our clients!

• Consistently respond to clients within specified time frames based on the level of service purchased.

• Perform daily tasks, including monitoring RMS statuses, ordering parts, checking stock inventory, and addressing in-house service requests.

• Manage the field-level service process, ensuring discreet, clean, and flawlessly functional project completion, while effectively communicating with the Service Department.

• Maintain both the technical performance and attractive cosmetic appearance of equipment and systems during each service call.

• Conduct objective assessments to recommend Client Care Packages and equipment upgrades.

• Collaborate with the Company and Service Manager on consistent outreach programs to engage clients.

• Stay updated on new equipment, evaluation procedures, and address frequent bugs through continuous education on supported product lines.

• Directly participate in the final stages of project completion to ensure all new projects are ready for commissioning.

• To hold or rest weighted objects (up to 50 lbs.) directly on hands, arms, shoulders, or back while walking from one location to another.
• Exertion of physical strength to move objects (over 20 lbs.) from one level to another.
• Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet.

• Possess 3+ years of hands-on experience with audio/video and residential electronic systems projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in the installation and servicing of Crestron and Lutron control systems.

• Understanding of Crestron and Lutron control systems, with the ability to support the programming department through downloads.

• Proficient in setting up Crestron remotes, keypads, and touch screens unsupervised.

• In-depth knowledge of cable TV systems, including termination, distribution amps, signal balancing, with the capability to test and troubleshoot unsupervised.

• Familiarity with the construction and design/build industry, trade coordination, and project management.

• To multitask, organize, and effectively ensure deadlines are met for multiple projects; must be able to manage the completion of projects.

• Must be able to conceptualize, collaborate and "brainstorm" with management; able to work within a team, make deadlines, and respond to quick changes in priority and creative direction.

• Accurately analyze resources while establishing details.
