Facility Technician

The Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of Class A, a multi-building corporate office campus located in El Segundo, California. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment for tenants, visitors, and campus employees.

Payrate: $27.81 hourly rate | Weekly pay

• -Perform routine inspections of campus buildings, common areas, mechanical rooms, restrooms, parking structures, and exterior grounds.
• -Execute preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules.
• -Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and building finishes.
• -Replace lamps, ballasts, lighting controls, and related components.
• -Monitor the condition and operation of HVAC equipment and report deficiencies to building engineering staff.
• -Assist with basic maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• -Ensure building systems operate efficiently and support tenant comfort.
• -Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• -Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and property operating procedures.
• -Follow all lockout/tagout and life-safety procedures.

• -High school diploma or GED.
• -Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance, building operations, hospitality facilities, or commercial property experience.
• -Experience working in commercial office buildings, campus environments, or corporate facilities preferred.
• -Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
• -Strong customer service and communication skills.
• -Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• -Proficiency with computers, mobile work-order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

$27.81 - $27.81 an hour
