Custodian 2nd Shift SG; PT

Responsibilities

Perform custodial duties as required for the daily operation of assigned building interiors of the college.

Coordinate and maintain cleanliness of campus facilities to present the best possible image of the college at all times.

Inspect and monitor assigned buildings, checking for cleanliness, restocking restrooms, and handling minor emergencies to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Clean interior glass surfaces minimum of twice a month at all buildings or as required.

Assist in furniture moving or set‑ups as directed.

Monitor custodial supply inventory and request additional stock as required; verify all inventory is kept neat and orderly in your assigned area.

Identify and report maintenance problems on campus to the Shift Lead Custodian, Facilities Services Supervisor and/or the Director of Buildings, Grounds and Events.

Snow removal as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of successful employment in a custodial position preferred.
• Physical ability to individually lift 35 pounds required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work well independently.

Minimum Starting Rate: 15.45 – 18.62 per hour.

Compensation Type:
Hourly.

Work Schedule:

M – Th 6:00 pm–11:00 pm; F 5:00 pm–10:00 pm.

Work Hours:

25 hours per week.
