Automation Technician WEEKEND Shift

Job Title

Automation Technician – Weekend Shift (Saturday to Wednesday, 6 am – 2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm)

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
• Complete point‑to‑point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.
• Set up and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and servo systems.
• Gather internal stakeholders’ requirements and create specifications and wiring diagrams for automation control systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to HARTING requirements and maintenance plans, and make adjustments in coordination with the responsible group leader.
• Proactively contribute to process and maintenance optimization in the spirit of HARlis lean management system.
• Support in handling complaints caused by defects in production equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or one to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Mechanical or electrical background.
• Database reporting and management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Hourly rate: $25.00 /hr – $35.00 /hr (commensurate with experience)
