Join a family-owned cleaning company trusted by local families for over 40 years! Happy Maids is hiring dependable daytime residential cleaners who live in or near Elgin. We focus primarily on recurring clients, which means steady, consistent, year-round work caring for homes throughout the Northwest Chicago suburbs.

Office: Barrington, IL
- $20-$27/hr + tips
- W-2 employment - you're an employee, not an independent contractor
- Paid every Friday by direct deposit
- $20/day travel pay
- No nights or weekends

You'll clean residential homes throughout our service area, either independently or as part of a small team. Typical responsibilities include:
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces throughout the home
- Vacuuming and washing floors
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms
- Following client notes and Happy Maids cleaning procedures
- Communicating client requests or concerns to the office
- Providing consistent, detailed service to recurring clients
You don't need professional cleaning experience. We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying active throughout the day. You must:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have your own reliable vehicle
- Be comfortable driving between client homes
- Be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, kneel, reach, and remain active throughout the workday
- Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to pass a background check
Our cleaning professionals work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. There are no evening shifts and no weekend shifts.
