Position Summary: Accounts Payable Clerk
King Street Pizza Company (KSPC) is a premium frozen pizza co-manufacturer based in Elk Grove Village, IL. We partner with some of the most recognized names in the food industry and operate BRCGS and Gluten-Free certified facilities under USDA and FDA oversight. We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance & Administration team in a full-time, in-office role.
You'll own the day-to-day AP process — from invoice intake through payment — and serve as the primary point of contact for vendor billing inquiries. This role sits at the intersection of purchasing, operations, and finance, offering real visibility into the full financial picture of a growing food manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing & Payment- Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval routing
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match)
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payment batches
- Monitor AP aging and flag overdue items or duplicate invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Enter and maintain vendor records, payment terms, and invoice data in Net Suite (ERP)
- Support the purchasing team by tracking outstanding POs and flagging invoice variances
- Assist with month-end close tasks including accruals and AP subledger reconciliation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing of invoices and payment records
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and other requests
- 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (manufacturing or food industry a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems;
Net Suite experience strongly preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or co-manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with purchase order workflows and inventory-based billing
- Ability to sit for extended periods in an office environment
- Occasional movement through production and warehouse areas
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
