Our industry-leading client is hiring a Sr CAD Technician - Curtain Wall, for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Requirements:

AutoCAD proficient
Ability to read architectural and structural plans
Revit and Inventor familiarity a plus
Basic skills in Word and Excel
Familiarity with standard drafting practices
2+ years of experience in the production of construction documents
Previous experience in the architectural aluminum industry is a plus.
Team player with excellent communication and follow through skills
Candidate expected to reside in the Chicago Metropolitan area

Job Description:

Produce shop drawings including floor plans, elevations, and details
Interpret & coordinate structural calculations with shop drawings
Produce fabrication drawings
Create and maintain BIM Models
Create and maintain product literature
Other duties may be assigned
