- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and products to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using engineering design software.
- Support product development activities from concept through manufacturing and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and project management.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection for mechanical designs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including specifications, BOMs, and test procedures.
- Support prototype builds, product testing, and validation activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and design optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
- Work with suppliers and vendors on component selection, manufacturability, and technical support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and engineering change management processes.
