Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support in the data center environment
• Respond to incident tickets, service requests, and change orders
• Install, rack, mount, cable, and decommission hardware
• Monitor data center infrastructure and respond to alarms
• Support emergency response efforts and preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain asset management records and track inventory
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or colocation environments
• Working knowledge of data center operations and hardware installation
• Experience with server, storage, and networking equipment
• Understanding of structured cabling systems, including installations and management
• Experience using ticketing systems and asset management platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
