About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing food manufacturing company. This organization is expanding and seeking a hands‑on supply chain professional to take ownership of their purchasing and replenishment processes across two nearby production facilities.
Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for managing purchasing, replenishment, and inventory planning to ensure materials are available for production while balancing cost, space, and operational efficiency. The Replenishment Manager / Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in analyzing demand, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating cross‑functionally to support production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily and weekly purchasing and replenishment activities
- Track demand trends and usage data to anticipate material needs
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, production, inventory, shipping/receiving, and scheduling teams
- Analyze inventory levels to minimize shortages, excess stock, and waste
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with vendors
- Review supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Generate reports on stock levels, inventory turns, and supply risks
- Provide light front desk or administrative coverage as needed
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain operations
- Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- Experience working with inventory management systems
- Ability to proactively manage inventory rather than relying solely on system triggers
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
