We are seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician willing to learn. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work for a multidimensional company in a fast-paced, growing industry.
- Conduct pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals
- Make accurate cost estimates, write engineering reports, and interpret plans and specifications
- Program and set up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills, and Swiss style lathes
- Develop/implement custom demonstrations and train customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines
- Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company
- Strong hands-on machining background with at least 3 years of experience with CNC machines
- Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus
- Proven solid understanding of CAD/CAM software is vital
- Master Cam, Esprit and Solidworks experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal skills required
- Frequent travel throughout our regional territory
- Perform related duties as required.

- Able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms.
- Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to keep their composure with the public and co-workers in everyday, stressful situations.
