What You’ll Own Run CNC mills, horizontal borers, and lathes with FANUC controls; dial in offsets, swap tooling, and perform light setups to keep parts on print
Cut complex castings and forgings into precision aerospace/defense components with tight tolerances and first-pass quality
Read and apply blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings without supervision
Perform in-process and final inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and dial indicators
Verify conformance to customer and engineering specs—identify and correct issues early
Troubleshoot tool wear, finish problems, and out-of-tolerance conditions; support continuous improvement
Maintain a safe, orderly cell in line with 5S practices
What You Bring Required Confident blueprint reading and interpretation—you work from the print
Non-negotiable commitment to safety, quality, and dependable attendance
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to communicate effectively in English Strong Plus5+ years of CNC machining experience on FANUC-controlled mills, borers, or lathes
Background with castings/forgings and close-tolerance work
Know-how in tooling selection, feeds/speeds, and offsetsGD&T fluency—you read it, apply it, and inspect to it Familiar with G- and M-codes
Aerospace, defense, or heavy industrial precision manufacturing experience AS
9100 or ISO 9001 quality system exposure
Strong troubleshooting instincts and ownership mentality
