Description Primary Job Responsibilities

  • CAPA Program Management
  • Lead the CAPA program, including identifying, investigating, and resolving quality issues through root cause analysis.
  • Develop, implement, & maintain accurate documentation of CAPA processes, including investigation reports, corrective actions, and verification activities.
  • Monitor and track CAPA activities to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to drive CAPA initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to communicate CAPA requirements and progress.
  • Manage, develop, and drive improvements with external providers through data analysis and other related activities (i.e. scorecards, audits, etc.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze quality data and trends (i.e., producing histograms, paretos, process failure analysis, etC.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on CAPA metrics and findings.
  • Drive improvements with targeted milestones based on the data analysis.
  • Related Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to support and maintain AS9100 and Nadcap compliance.
  • Participate in process improvement activities within a team‑based environment.
  • Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements

Job Requirements and Skills
  • Engineering/ technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Hands‑on experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • A strong in‑depth understanding of Quality Management Systems, specifically ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in using a variety of software solutions, consisting of but not limited to ERPs and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), engineering drawings, and specification interpretation skills required.
  • An individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills are required.
  • Proven experience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems, and reporting methodologies required.
  • Must have technical report and procedure writing skills.
  • Strong computer literacy required.

Reports To: The Quality Engineer reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
