Job Description & How to Apply Below

Join our team as the CMM Programmer and take full ownership of CMM programming, inspection strategy, and dimensional quality for complex precision components. Reporting to the quality leadership team, you will develop and maintain CMM programs across first-article, in-process, and final inspection activities, and set the standard for measurement rigor that drives product conformance in a high-consequence manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on CMM professional who has experience programming and validating inspection routines for precision components in aerospace, defense, medical, or other regulated industries, and who wants to apply their metrology expertise in a technically demanding environment, as well as grow their career with a stable and expanding precision manufacturer.

CMM Programmer | What You Will Do
  • Develop, validate, optimize, and maintain CMM programs, probing strategies, alignments, and inspection documentation for complex precision components
  • Operate CMM equipment, execute inspection routines, analyze results, and report nonconforming or questionable conditions clearly and promptly
  • Support first-article inspections including AS9102 documentation, balloon drawings, inspection plans, and customer-required reporting formats
  • Collaborate with Quality, manufacturing, engineering, and customers to resolve drawing interpretation, measurement method, and GD&T questions
  • Verify that inspection methods, equipment accuracy, and measurement repeatability are appropriate for the product characteristics being evaluated
  • Assist with root-cause and corrective-action investigations by providing reliable dimensional data and technical analysis
  • Maintain program revision control, calibration awareness, and complete traceable quality records in compliance with quality system requirements
  • Train inspectors and other personnel on approved CMM routines, loading methods, and inspection requirements
CMM Programmer | What You Bring
  • Proven hands-on experience operating, programming, and maintaining coordinate measuring machines in a precision-manufacturing environment
  • Advanced blueprint-reading and GD&T knowledge with the ability to translate complex design requirements into effective inspection strategies
  • Experience with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or a comparable CMM software platform; probe system experience required
  • Working knowledge of dimensional metrology, measurement uncertainty, calibration practices, gage R&R, and inspection reporting
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve program, fixturing, alignment, and measurement-repeatability issues independently
  • Experience with aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated precision components preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
CMM Programmer | The Perks
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
