Sales Director Benefits & Compensation
  • Competitive base salary ($75,000–$85,000) plus uncapped commission

Sales Director Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in security integration, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms
  • Comfortable with face‑to‑face cold calls and in‑person client meetings
  • Demonstrated success as a sales hunter focused on acquiring new customers
  • Proven ability in sales operations and strategic sales planning
  • Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Track record of business development and growing revenue
  • Experience selling to contractors, real estate developers, or building managers is especially valuable.
Sales Director Preferred Background & Skills
  • Background in security or technology systems integrator industry strongly preferred
  • Experience working with developers, general contractors, electrical contractors, or building managers
  • Familiarity with both new construction and retrofit (“rip and replace”) sales cycles
Sales Director Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Proactively build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities (approximately 80% new business)
  • Conduct face‑to‑face outreach, including walk‑in cold calls to prospects
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive company growth
  • Prepare and deliver timely quotes for both new and renewal business
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
